The apartment is located at the highest point in La Manga (a hill known as Monteblanco), 3km from the start of the strip, in a quiet complex with no
through-road. The satellite images below demonstrate the exact position of the apartment (click on the images to see larger versions). If you have Google Earth

Entertainment
The apartment is located opposite Plaza Bohemia, which has a daily evening market as well as bars, cafes and restaurants. Further up the strip are more shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. There's also the Tomas Maestre marina with over one thousand moorings and some stunning boats and yachts, plus a selection of bars and restaurants.
For kids, there's Peki Park, a childen's waterpark and playground approximately 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Beaches
La Manga has more than 40km of 'Blue Flag' beaches, making them some of the cleanest beaches in Europe. There are 20kms of beaches along the Mediterranean
side of the La Manga strip and just as many along the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor beaches are particularly safe because the water is warm and shallow and the
beaches slope gently. The closest is approx. 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Shops
One of the best things about the location is that everything you need is right on your doorstep. Within 5 minutes walk from the apartment is a
supermarket (called "Uppers", with a butchers inside), a second butchers, a tobacconist, a pharmacy, a payphone, two banks, clinic, hair salon,
plus various cafes, restaurants, bars and a night market.
Within 10 minutes walk there's another supermarket, a post office, plus several more banks, cafes, restaurants and bars.
The two largest supermarkets in the area are Uppers in Cabo de Palos and Mercadona,
located at the start of the La Manga strip (you'll pass it on your right as you enter the strip) approx. 3km from
the apartment.
